Cardiff set for Taylor |
|
Cardiff are set to sign Stuart Taylor from Aston Villa. Rumours around Cardiff suggest the goalkeeper who has found himself out of the first team plans, could be set to move to Cardiff.
Since his move from Arsenal in 2005, Taylor has only made 8 Premiership appearences, and he is now ready to move on. The 6ft 5in keeper would fit the bill perfectly for Cardiff boss Dave Jones as he looks to bring in a shot-stopper to replace Neil Alexander. Jones currently only has the largely untested David Forde at his disposal. It is understood that Cardiff will pay around £250,000 upfront with add-ons. I would really like Taylor he as he is a very commanding goalkeeper and a very good shot stopper. Since Alexander has left, I have been nervous all summer, waiting for a keeper to sign as we only have a, what I would call, dodgey Forde. And by signing Taylor it would give me some confidence ahead of next season. |

Were not in massive need of a striker. Although Tommo didnt get many goals last season, I think there is more to come from him and Byrne.
My main target would be a goalkeeper then a central midfielder and maybe a right sided midfielder before a striker. |
