It's fine I guess.
Let's see how he manages it. |

It must as be just as hard on the new manager as it is for Capello being sacked. Because surely anything less than the league again will surely be deemed as a huge failure?

Schuster is in for a hard time. If he dose not win the league he'll get fired & if he dose win the league he'll get fired.

Schuster could get fired much earlier if the team isn't convincingly competitive for all titles until Xmas.

Don't exagerate, people.
Capello was sacked because he played deffensive (except in the last matches) and that's an style we don't like in Spain. It's true he won La Liga and that's why I shouldn't have sacked him, but it's not fair that you say he was sacked "because he won". If Schuster wins La Liga and plays a nice football I'm sure he'll stay. |

It's not that easy though, Capello played the way he knew and it worked. Other managers have played attacking and not won, and still been sacked. It's ridiculous and the policy doesn't really endear neutrals to Real Madrid either... |

are we talking about Capello or Del Bosque? Cause you guys don't make up your minds
I don't support any of those decisions, but in the case of Capello, it has a more or less acceptable explanation: he made a boring team. But he didn't promise good football, he just promised a tittle and that's why he should have stayed. In the case of Del Bosque, it was totally ashaming, he was sacked for no reason even if Florentino said it was because we needed "fresh air" |

yeah del bosque's sacking was one of the worst decisions the club has ever made.
sure, they actually had a proper reason to sack capello, but i don't think that anywere near a good enough reason. especially as we were playing very exciting football towards the end of the season. |

Capello is worldwide known cause of his boring but competitive teams, who make most fans sleep but win the trophies. He did exactly what he was supposed to do, if the board wasnt satisfied, why they signed him for a begining?

Its true that there was a valid reason for sacking Capello but Del Bosque was a frightening decision.
If Capello was brought in to deliver La Liga, playing football of any kind, then I can understand his frustration & the board already have 1st hand experience of Capello from his 1st stint in charge. Its all about merging success with beautiful football & I think the best manager for that is Arsene Wenger. |

Most of Madrid fans don't like Wenger, basically cause he said in 2001, after we signed Zidane: "Real Madrid seems a circus, they won't win the UCL in at least other 32 years". We won it again the next year
So, he can stay in his circus, I don't want him. |

He said that??
Lets just hope Schuster brings back the good old days Some of my earliest recollections of Real were back in the 93-94 / 94-95 season - Zamorano, Hierro, Redondo, Sanchis, Illgner etc... were not the greatest players at that time but played some fantastic stuff. |
