Might be some other interest in this, so ill start a thread.

The All Blacks won the first game of the tri nations against South Africa last night. Was a cracking game, really physical and the Boks gave it all they had. In the end the patience and fitness of the All Blacks triumphed with two late tries to silence the massive home crowd.

South Africa 21 - All Blacks 26

Was our loss to SA the first game in this series? I don't follow this shite sport Wink

All Blacks must've done well to win, it was 11 - 6 last I saw to the Boks.

This match was the first one, next is All Blacks v Wallabies in Melbourne next saturday night.

Boks were up 21 - 12 at one point but the All Blacks stayed calm and kept playing their game and the tries came.

I'll think you'll find that SA beat Aus last week in the 1st game .

I know you Kiwis are one-eyed when it comes to Rugby Union , but to only count games that involve NZ is taking it too far . Laughing

I watched the game yesterday, I didnt really care who won but it was a quality game, great pace to it and plenty of big hits - especially Burger & Collins.

Apparently this is a rehearsal for the World Cup Final later in the year, NZ just had too much strength and depth for SA in the end so if everyone stays fit they really should win the World Cup

Southern Hemisphere teams are going to get cained at the World cup-only teams i can say will realitically say can put up a struggle are Ireland and France who have really very good world class packs especially there centre's but i still think they will be white washed by the mighty All Blacks (who could realistically field 3 teams) .Aussies are always a force but some times lack full concerntration and SA are begining to rebuild there team effictivally!
Wales are just no hopers IMHO as the state of the Welsh domestic game is unrecognisable(i have stopped going to games) England are re-building and are no where near good enough to compete whilst Scotland are always abit hit and miss although they had a decent six nations campaign.
Italy and Argies can never think of them as major rugby nations!lol

Well this whole competition has descended into chaos now, after the loss to the All Blacks the Springboks have decided they have little chance of winning the competition so have rested 20 (yes twenty) of their best players for their tour to Aussie and NZ for the next two matches of the competition. (obviously with the World Cup in mind)

Aussie and NZ have threatened to pull out of the competition if SA dont take it seriously and an emergency video conference was apparently taking place tonight to sort it out.

Each team plays the other 2 home and away .

SA have just hosted Aus & NZ ; now Aus are going to host NZ & SA ; then the teams move on to NZ for the final 2 matches .

4 points for a win , 2 for a draw , 1 if you lose by 7 points or less , plus 1 point if you score 4 tries or more .
