I've just gone on for the first time in ages - Santa Cruz in team meant I didn't do too badly this week! Done a few transfers so looking good now

71 points for me this week, happy enough with that and only 2 people above me got more so ive closed the gap a bit. Still down in 8th though

Only 58 for me, but it would have been 68 (at least) had i not made the mistake of switching the captaincy from Ronaldo to Fabregas.

My other team did better though: 77 provisional points.

I made 4 changes to my first team though, in order to accomodate Cahill and Almunia. The team now looks like this:

Fabregas / Gerrard (C) / Ronaldo / Cahill / Flamini

Tevez / Benjani

subs: Kirkland, Bent (Wigan), Wheater, Gabbidon

I captained Gerrard for the next gameweek because Liverpool are playing Derby. Hopefully, i won't regret that decision. I just thought that Fabregas and Ronaldo have tougher games, against Portsmouth and Sunderland (both away).

Good point about Gerrard, ive still got mine set to Ronaldo.

A good recommendation to anyone looking for a bargain - Clint Dempsey, cost me only 4m and hes got over 70 points so far, with another 10 this week

I initially had Dempsey but got rid of him when he stopped doing well. It seems that he's on a roll again, though.

Dempsey goes quit for a few games and then has one big game, then goes quit for another few games. He's good for keeping the bench warm and to put in for an injured player or someone out on suspension. And he doesn't cost much, so that's a plus.

Well due to my busy christmas looked at my team for the 1st time in about 3 weeks and im quiet please will wait till transfer window then make my wild card transfers i think. But 23rd in my first ever season im quiet happy with. And 2nd in the Champions League one need to sort that team out now the groups are done. Change of job could make it hard to get online as often though

Terrible week for me, only 38 points. Im still 7th but lost out badly on the top few

Kenwyne Jones got 15 points but I only had him on the bench while Benjani started and only got 2..

Ive just been looking through a few of the rankings and our league is 1,313th out of almost 110,000 different leagues which is quite impressive

kenwyne jones did well for me agianst Bolton, two assists and a goal got me 14 points from him.

This fella looks like the real deal, would love him at Spurs if we lost one of our strikers.

Yeah, He set-up Kieron Richardson brilliantly for Sunderlands first goal the other day. And even when he doesnt score he collects a good few points.

I put Sol Campbell on the bench and he scores tons of points

i had an awesome week by my standards, got benjani and adebayor at front, as well as cole. so 5 goals between my three forewards. also clean sheets for vidic and evra. and of course ronaldo getting a good few points, 16(c).

Santa Cruz was the only player of mine today in action and I set him as my captain
