Nottingham Forest have completed a double deal for Yeovil Town wingers Arron Davies and Chris Cohen.
The Glovers pair move to the City Ground for an undisclosed fee, with Cohen signing a four-year contract and Davies penning a three-year deal. Cohen, 20, initially joined the Glovers in November 2005 on loan from West Ham and went on to pen a permanent deal just over a year ago. He netted eight goals in 81 appearances for Town. Twenty-three-year-old Davies moved to Huish Park in December 2004 from Southampton and went on to score 27 times in 115 outings for the Glovers. Both men played starring roles in Town's play-off victory over Forest in May, with Cohen confirming that the Nottingham club had been on his trail for a while. He told Forest's official club website: "I was aware there was interest at the start of last season and then again in January. "Twice it didn't happen, but the manager has shown faith in me and hopefully I can repay that with good performances." |
