Women's Ambassadors

For the first time in its history, FIFA has appointed the following former women players and coaches as ambassadors for women's football, in recognition of their services to football:

Michelle Akers (USA)
Mercy Akide (NIGERIA)
Silvana Burtini (CANADA)
Julie Foudy (USA)
Mia Hamm (USA)
Kioka FUutaba (JAPAN)
Liu Ailing (CHINA PR)
Carolina Morace (ITALY)
Julie Murray (AUSTRALIA)
Silvia Neid (GERMANY)
Sissi (BRAZIL)
Heidi Stoere (NORWAY)
Sun Wen (CHINA PR)
Pia Sundhage (SWEDEN)
Bettina Wiegmann (GERMANY)

This is a step forward in developing the women's game from FIFA's point of view
Some great names in that list!
Would be good if FIFA/federations took notice of what these ladies have to say and offer - could learn alot Cool

One day, when she has to retire. I hope she will be one, she deserves it Cool
I think it's good they have ambassadors but they still don't get a huge amount of mention.
