My head says we need anew stadium , to improve facilities , to give unobstructed views for every seat , to increase revenue , etc etc .

My heart says stay at Goodison , it's not just bricks and mortar , it's where I celebrated , commiserated , experienced joy and despair ; where childhood dreams were both realised and crushed .

Goodison was where my mum and dad took me from the age of 8 ; where my wife and I took our 4 year old son to his first Premiership game ( he went to his first youth team game before he was 2 ) .

I worry that our new stadium will be brand new and flashy but lack soul .

Very impressive looking. Read that it holds up to 50,000 capacity compared to Goodison's approx 35,000.... Do you think we able to fill it up?

The word is that it will cost us £10m to build ........ Tesco and the sale of Goodison will pay for the rest .

Personally I think that sounds a little unrealistic .

And given that it took us all sumer to find £4m for Jagielka , where the hell are we going to find £10m .

I heard £75 m ........the Tesco £50m , plus the sale of Goodison for £15m , leaves us needing to find £10m .

Its not rubbish, its fact. Tesco are funding your move, without Tesco you are dead in the water as far as a ground move goes.

Jealousy? Really? WHY would I be jealous when this is on the way.

BTW, its in Liverpool Very Happy

Pssst btw, 4Everton. I know you're out in Singapore and all that but hey, leave the conversation to us people who actually go the match and LIVE in the city. Good lad

It's a football forum were by anyone can discuss football wether they go the game or not. If we did go by your rules then you would probably be the only red in here posting about your HOME games only, as you don't go away games so you wouldn't be allowed to talk about em.

Thank you... Cool

You don't appear to know what you are talking about. I still play a part in supportting the club by buying their jerseys and stuff over here. I would love to attend every game if i live over there.

R u saying fans from overseas cant participate in this forum? Btw, Liverpool is in asia right now...... why do you think they are here???

Wowzers, you buy the shirts hey? Well done then...you're a super supporter and sure showed me Rolling Eyes

Upside down coffee table? OK, if thats what you wanna think but Im glad I know it'll never have a Tesco sticker on it like your, oh sorry, Tesco's stadium.

Why are Liverpool in Asia I hear you ask? Simple really, MONEY. Why are Everton in America? is it because they have a huge fanbase? Noooo, its money, pure and simple.
