Germany and the Netherlands have one of soccer's oldest rivalries. It will be up to a new generation of players, however, to bear the grudge when they play in Rotterdam on Wednesday.
Netherlands coach Marco van Basten and German counterpart Juergen Klinsmann have rebuilt their teams since their last meeting at the start of the European Championship in 2004, a game which ended in a 1-1 draw after Ruud van Nistelrooy's late equalizer.
"There's no such thing as a friendly match against the Germans," Tim de Cler, a defender from AZ Alkmaar, told Dutch daily Algemeen Dagblad.
SO, who will win?
