Has Gerrard ever won the Premiership? it's harder to win the Prem than it is the Champions League.

Yawn yeh you have to beat teams like Fulham,Wigan,Sheff utd not the likes Of Barca,Juve and Milan they are just small teams compared to the mighty wigan.

Then why can't you's win the prem without buying it?
It's called consistency in the prem, in the cl you can be very lucky and win things on penaltys.

We're not buying it thanks and as for not winning the title, theres a simple reason for this...we werent good enough.

Up until this season we've be outgunned by the spending power of Man Utd and Chelsea...they had well better players than us and a larger squad.

I think we'll do better this year but as for winning the league, Im still unsure. It depends on our start and if we actually score goals this year

Yes but I was just pointing out to gerrard that the CL is easier to win than the prem which he claims the opposite, His favourite team has proved that over the last 16 years or whatever it is.

You have to turn it on for 38 games, not just a few knockout rounds and you dont get the luxury of being able to rest 9 players in a game when you are mounting a title challenge, proven by the fact that you DO rest 9 players in a league game prior to a CL match and finish nowhere in the league.


I look forward to seeing how Liverpool do in the CL when they have to field the same team in it as what played a PL match the weekend before due to them being in the title race, but I doubt I will get to see that in my lifetime
