John Obi Mikel

just wondering what is everyone expecting from mikel this year i personally think he is going to have a good season and i also belive he will be a first starter as he was in the second half of last season the holding role at Chelsea is going to be mikels this year what does everybody else think about mikel for this season.

Yeah he has come on leaps and bounds during his first season. To be honest i think Lassana Diarra is a better player but Mikel has bags of potential and seems to improve with every game he plays.Considering Mikel hadn't played for a year before he came to Chelsea and had trained on his own during that period, he has made a big change to his attitude which was his biggest problem. He finished the season playing good football and exceeded the fans expectation. He will improve more and really looks like he has what it takes to become a Chelsea first team player.

overrated player with a poor attitude and disciplinary record. diarra is the better player. Man Utd must be secretly relieved he broke his contract with them
