It certainly won't be easy for Liverpool like everyone is thinking,Toulouse beat Lyon only a few days ago,and Liverpool have been known to struggle in these qualifiers

May be or may be not because Valenciennes have beaten Toulouse 3-1, i can be wrong but i don't see Lyon winning this new championship, they had lost good players. And Coupet is injuried and now it's Cris who is injuried too. Confused

With the players they lost, the injuries and the new coach i also think they could suffer this year. I don't know about the French league, but i don't see them doing too well in the CL this year.

Who could challenge them for the title in France this season? Marseille hasn't started very well. Bordeaux maybe?

it was very funny yeasterday to watch Lazio getting two red cards, their unrealized penalty, Dinamo Bucarest red card and two nice goals =)
in the pairs

Sarajevo - Dinamo Kiev
Salzburg - Shakhtar Donetsk

i think the favourites are ukrainian clubs for an objective reason.

Currently i really don't know because Le Mans, Lorient, Nancy had really well start but the begining is always like that. And Bordeaux had been beaten by Le Mans yesterday.

Yeah, the French league has always been hard to predict until a few years ago when Lyon won it for the second time and then they became impossible to beat.

In your opinion, which team has the best players? Is it still Lyon, or has another team overtaken them in that department now that they've sold a few of their previous stars?

I think Lyon will be in the top but i don't see them win again.

Marseille is surely the french team that had bought most good players, but i think Lyon still is the team who have the best players, they had bought good players but not too many and they had lost good player Malouda, Abidal, Tiago, Diarra and Cacapa, and now the coach is Perrin. I don't know i've the feeling that they will not win this year with all the players who are injuried.

Lyon are throwing away their dominance. They've had a shocking start to the season, and they sold most of their best players.

I'm watching Crvena Zvezda - Rangers now. don't remember the first leg result, but Zvezda looks much better at this moment. So, now they are favourites.

it is still 0:0, and Darcheville had such a chance! But serbian team attacks more often.

Dinamo Bucarest - Lazio 1-3

Great second half from the Roman side and deserved victory.

This Champions League there will be 2 clubs from Milan and 2 from Rome, let's see who will do better ( im sure milan will )

Liverpool 4 - 0 Toulouse (5 - 0 On aggregate)

We absolutley destroyed them, Kuyt got two late goals to add to Crouch's opener (which Kuyt provided the cross for) and Hyypia's easy header. Another good night at Anfield.

I expected nothing else, Tolouse are extremely average indeed. Benayoun looked dangerous in my opinion, as did Kuyt.

Kuyt is man of the match IMO. He played very well, I agree Benayoun had a good game the others who stood out for m were Leto, Arbeloa and Hypia (especially seeing as he had a broken nose)

For me, Benayoun was the man of the match, and Arbeloa was second. Kuyt third.

Benayoun was fantastic, and if he can play like that regularly through the season we will be very strong indeed.

If he does, our right midfield problem will definitely be sorted.

He's very creative, which is something we lacked lasts season. I think he could be good for us.
