I'd like to know who put "is he needed" under the thread subject. Cool

I think it is because of my sceptic comments, Bluenose. Even though it is great he scored and all, I still hope this doesn't mean we will see young Vic pushed too far down the pecking order. I have a lot of time for Anichebe and I reckon if we continue to let him develop in the first team he will become a Mark Hughes type of player, but with a bit of pace to add. I really think he will go on and achieve great things.
I hope now that Yakubu and Anicheve can form a prolific partnership for club and country.

You're right m8, vic is a fine player, but I'm sure a bigger squad will make him and others fight even harder for their places. Wink

Yak gives Everton the attacking edge they need now. Vic is still young and can develop by learning from established players like Yak. Moyes is doing the right thing by bringing the younger players into the game at the right time and sparringly.

In Moyes we trust!

Yakubu coming to Goodison???
