Now Monaco 0-3 Bordeaux, Lyon have 49 points and Bordeaux 48 if Bordeaux win tonight. Shocked

I don't know what Monaco do, i've watched Marseille-Monaco few weeks ago and Monaco was not good at all.

Marseille won the classico 2-1 against PSG.

Aussie, there was a problem in the match Metz - Valenciennes, the Moroccan captain of Valenciennes Ouaddou have gone in the stands like Cantona in Leeds to catch a supporter after this one have said racist insults. This player, the club of Metz and the president of the Ligue lodge a complaint against him.

Thats not good, racism should not be tolerated.

Disappointing 2-1 loss does not make it better...

Watched the highlights of all the games this weekend, Valenciennes were playing very well indeed when it was at 0-0 and when they went a goal up, they should have put Metz away very early indeed, a team that were showing they hadn't won at home for nine months and are good as relegated to Ligue 2, yet they let Metz back into the game.

Good win indeed for Marseille against fierce rivals PSG, decent, brave header from the Nigerian Taiwo, and the winner from Niang after Jerome Rothen had put PSG ahead with a twice taken penalty. Pauleta, who was on the bench again, spurned a glorious chance to seal it for the Paris club.

Stunning second half display from Bordeaux, putting six unanswered past Monaco in just forty five minutes, Monaco defended very poorly indeed and Bordeaux were just blistering. The link up play they had up top was superb with the likes of Micoud, Bellion, Cavenaghi and Chamakh.

Saint Etienne finally had a performance to shout about also, with a good, solid and comprehensive 4-0 win over Nancy in which Guinean play maker Feindouno and striker Gomis ran riot. A highlight of an otherwise other disappointing season for them in my opinion.

Looked like a very entertaining game also in Sochaux, as they took on Caen in a game that ended 1-1. Looked like Sochaux would condemn Caen to yet another defeat when they took the lead through Maurice-Belay and then won a penalty after a stupid challenge from a Caen defender, yet Stephane Dalmats very poor penalty was comfortably saved. Caen then looked to work their way back into the game and scored through the young Gouffran for a great point.

My thoughts on the weekends action there anyway.

Yes Monaco looks very poor, it was the same when they played against Marseille, they defended but they didn't touch the ball, i don't think that they will stay at the 7th place. Something doesn't work in Monaco.

Do you think we might finally see Lyon toppled as Champions this season RC?

It would be nice to see their dominance broken.

Come on Bordeaux!

If Bordeaux win, that will be a good thing for Laurent Blanc who is the coach of Bordeaux, and it is his first year as a coach.

I think they will win too because Valenciennes is the 2nd best team at home.

At home Lyon have 10 wins, 2 draws and 1 defeat and Valenciennes have 9 wins, 2 draws and 1 defeat.

But they are 18th away.

Yeah they're a terrible away team. Thats something they need to work on. I think they just feel too intimidated and like they're in over their heads.
