Landreau's mistake for the first Auxerre goal was comical.

Does not help though with the PSG fans booing him all game, do they think that is going to make him better?! Hardly helps to rebuild the players self esteem does it?

It was not a good year for Landreau, he made often mistakes and 3 mistakes on his 3 last matchs. I agree with you that he can be less confident if the fans are booing him, and it's often at home that he made mistakes, so it's not the way to make him better. He must play his 400 th match of Ligue 1 tomorrow.

Lille 0-1 Lyon
Lorient 0-0 Nancy
Le Mans 0-1 Strasbourg
Marseille 2-1 Auxerre
Monaco 0-0 Valenciennes
Metz 2-1 Caen
Sochaux 0-0 Rennes
Lens 1-1 Toulouse

Not a good result for Lens. Sad

It's shock to see them doing so poorly, it really is.

It's incredible looking at Pauleta's goal scoring record for PSG and Portugal, yet I'm not sure what impact he is having this season.

Pauleta will stop at the end of the season, this season he has scored 5 goals in Ligue 1 but if all the team doesn't play well, Pauleta can't score. There are supporters of PSG who don't want him to stop.

It's strange, the man has a phenomenal goalscoring record for both club and country, yet on the occassions i have seen him play i have not been impressed at all.

Pauleta was the best scorer last year, he had made good seasons with PSG but he scored more when he played for Bordeaux. With Bordeaux he was never under 20 goals by season in Ligue 1.

French cup last 16 :

Paris-SG (L1) 2-1 Bastia (L2)
Sedan (L2) 2-0 Angers (L2)
Dijon (L2) 3-1 Tours FC (Nat)
Lyon (L1) 2-1 Sochaux (L1)
Bordeaux (L1) 2-0 (after extratime) Lille (L1)
Lorient (L1) 0-1 Metz (L1)
Amiens (L2) 1-1 (4-2 on penalties) Arles (Nat)
Carquefou (CFA2) 1-0 Marseille (L1)

The big surprise is the elimination of Marseille by Carquefou which is a club of the 5th division from the suburbs of Nantes and they have eliminated Nancy in the last 32. Shocked

Yes they are and they are not professional players, they have a job. Shocked

May be in Uefa cup next year ? Very Happy

It happened ten years ago with Nimes Olympique, they were in third Division and they were qualified for the cup winner of cup, and they won the two legs against Honved Budapest in the first round but they failed in the next round.

Thats quite an achievement. Did you see any of the Liverpool vs. Havant & Waterlooville FA Cup game earlier this season? Havant are a non-league, semi-professional team who scored 2 goals against Liverpool at Anfield, they played brilliantly but aren't top of their own league, they're actually relegation threatened Laughing
