Putrum, the problem is that out of all those guys the only one who can do Eto's job is Giovanni and he's not likely to be a starter for the next 2 months (until Eto returns).
I want Henry in the game for 90 minutes, but if Rijkaard tries to use him as a CF in a 4-3-3 system he will fail. Henry cannot cope in that position. He needs to be on the left of attack, with room to cut in. Imo, we have a problem and the solution could be to play Henry on the left, Giovanni in the middle of attack, Messi where he is and either bench Ronaldinho (which won't happen) or play him behind Giovanni. |

Ronaldinho, Henry and Messi will start the game. And in the last game against Inter Ronaldinho and Henry started and Henry played on the left of attack.

Did we use a 4-4-2 against Inter, with Ronaldinho playing in the hole (behind Henry/Messi)? Or a 4-4-3 with Ron as a CF?! I didn't see the game i'm afraid.

4-4-3 with Ronaldinho as a CF.

Really? No wonder he didn't have much impact on the game.
My opinion is that Ronaldinho and Henry should not be used as CFs. |

Perhaps the best position for both players is the left on the attack and then I prefer that Henry plays there because Ronaldinho isn't playing well in the last months.

Left of the attack IS their best position, but obviously they can't both play there. Also, let's be realistic, Ron isn't going to be benched and ideally Henry shouldn't be benched either and that is why we have a problem.

Play Ronnie behind the CF, in the hole as an attacking midfielder, with Messi on the right, and Henry on the left.

Ronnie doesn't play behind the CF because he is the CF now that Eto'o is injured. Today Messi can't play then will play Iniesta, Giovanni or Bojan.
The team for today against Osasuna is: Valdes; Abidal, Milito, Thuram, Zambrotta; Toure, Deco, Iniesta; Henry, Ronaldinho and Giovanni. In the bench: Jorquera (keeper), Sylvinho, Oleguer, Xavi, Bojan Krkic, Gudjohnsen, Ezquerro. |

Sticky you know i never knew you were such a passionate fan of La Liga looking at your Avatar.
Do you know what let me tell you some thing, Eto'o might never get to start a real football match for Barca when he returns because he will be totally out of form. Did you watch him plya before he was injured? He was more like Allan Smith |

Huh? I don't understand what you mean. Are you saying my avatar gave you the impression i wasn't really that big on la liga, or the opposite, but my posts suggested that? |
