Quick question. |
|
I was in London west end this weekend and saw a lot of Chelsea fans wearing shevchenko shirts.Maybe it was a freak incident and i was just caught in the middle of a coachload of the shevchenko fanclub.I thought this incredible show of support interesting as the man has been an absolute flop in the premiership and that's putting it lightly. With his track record i thought he was a sure thing in this league.
He's done almost nothing against the bigger teams and he seemd to be more in tuned with the teams from the lower divisions in cup matches which is where he found most of his success. Now Malouda on the other hand has produced from day one. Here is a man ithat i actually didn't rate ,even after watching the often called "weaker" French league for a few years.I just wasn't sold on malouda, but i have to give him respect as he has produced some fine outings so far. I was just wondering why there is no boo's for Shevchenko when he comes on the pitch.?No questioning the amount of money he's cost the team? Why the complete silence on this issue? |

Because he is a massive name. Most people had brought his shirt before he had even played a game for Chels but he is loved at Chelsea because we can see that the bloke is trying.Kezman was loved because he tryed. All you can do is try your best and Sheva really is trying and working hard

Interesting.
I think Drogba is less popular at the bridge and he basically carried the team last season. So hwo long do you think the patience of the adouring Chelsea "fans" will last for Schevchenko?Or does he have like special privileges because of his tarck record in another league? |

Drogba is more popular than Sheva. No dout about it, but if Sheva continues to play how he has last season but continues to put in the effort we all can see he will still have his name sung. I'm sure Sheva will go at the end of the season even if he comes good. Thing is if a player shows good attitude then that is a massive thing for Chelsea fans.
