Leicester City boss Martin Allen has left the club by mutual consent after just three months at the helm.

The former Brentford manager signed a three-year deal in May, but his relationship with chairman Milan Mandaric quickly deteriorated.

"Given our respective visions for the club, it was decided that it would be in everybody's best interests if we parted company," said Mandaric.

Last week, Allen insisted speculation about his future was "rubbish".

It all went pear shaped apparently after the whole Hasselbaink Saga.

Haha he quit. What a joker. It was only a week ago he was saying its good for chairman and managers to have arguments. He said it meant they cared and that could only be good for the club.

The chairman is an arshole he should stick to what he is good at and leave the playing staff round to the gaffer

I think they have lost a good manager there i feel sorry for him.

Totally agree Steve, they now have to bring in a new manager who may not even like some of the players Martin Allen brought in and will upset the balance of the team that has worked so hard together during the summer lol

It seems it wasnt mutual consent, Mandaric sacked him mainly because he wasnt interested in signing Hasselbank, I think Allen is a good manager and he would have been good for City
