Always tough to play Bolton at the Reebok. But I feel that we are strong enough this season to give any team a tough time even at away games. So I predict we should be able to get something out of this match. I predict a scored draw, likely 1-1.

After seeing them batter Reading 3-0, i'm going for a 2-1 win for Bolton.

I think we will deserve the win but the result wont show that... I say 2 - 2 (but 2-0 to Everton I hope)

Hope yokubu plays and scores to get him off to a good start. Wink

If Yakubu is fit and gets fielded, I think we may have a better chance for 3 pts. Otherwise, still think scored draw (1-1) more likely.

Bolton are not the same team they were. I think if Everton are disciplined and keep the shackles on their key forward men like Anelka then we are more than capable of breaking them down. I'm going for a comfortable Everton win here.

You're 2nd in the league. If you where top you'd be in position 1, not 2. Rolling Eyes

Hi, Eurxe, nice to hear from you. I presume you remember Yakubu from his Maccabi Haifa days with fondness. This was a really good result today, although the performance could have been better. To be honest, I thought we made hard work of a Bolton side who we should have put on the back foot a lot more. However, a great start for Yakubu, his goal was a great breakaway move. Their goal was just shoddy defending that we will have to cut out. Two men going for one ball is just amateurish to say the least and it is stupid things like that that could easily cost us points. We were lucky Bolton had some shoddy defending of their own to hand us all three. Overall, as a man who truly believes Nil Satis Nisi Optimum, I think there is a heck of a lot of room for improvement.
