From Forbes:

Quote:
MADRID (Thomson Financial) - A Spanish court has rejected a request from Sogecable SA's Audiovisual Sports (AVS) division to block Mediapro from entering stadiums with television cameras and broadcasting football matches, until a final decision has been taken on broadcasting rights.

AVS and Mediapro are currently embroiled in a legal battle over a contractual agreement to share premier league football broadcasting rights, which the Catalan producer claims is invalid.

In a statement, Mediapro said the court has decided that until the legal battle over who holds the rights to which games is concluded, Mediapro will be permitted access to the games and permission to broadcast them.

So basically this Mediapro company is televising some of the games until the legal dispute ends.

We get La Liga from Supersport here and i'm sure they don't show the games. Maybe Sky has some sort of agreement with Mediapro or something.

Sky Sports show plenty of Spanish games, usually 4 every weekend. I saw the highlights this morning, great performance from Real, every player seemed to play superbly

Of course we're the real deal!

We've been better than the teams that were better than us last season, so we're right back up there with the top, top guns of European football.

Well we were in the latter part of last season anyway.

I wouldnt go that far. It was a very impressive performance from Madrid but its only 1 game. They struggled last week against Athelitco & were out classed the week before that against Sevilla.

What do you mean we struggled against Atletico? We got a a win FFS against a team with one of the best midfield's in the world, and we were away. Getting a win against Atletico is a very good result, and if anything it is something to be impressed with.

But yeah, Sevilla did outclass us.

I'm not going just on our two impressive performances this season though, we did also win the league last season. We won a la liga title, which surely puts us up there with the top teams in Europe anyway. Add to that the amount of quality we have added over the summer, and the hugely impressive start we have made this season, and we're undoubtedly up there with the top, top teams in Europe again. I think we're better than AC Milan, Man Utd, and even Barcelona. They may have the most impressive first team, but until they play as well as their team sheet would suggest, then i can't think of any reason why they could say they're better than us, as over the last 16 months we have without doubtr been better than them.

They are probally the best team in Spain at the moment with Sevilla.

Better than Barcelona? Yes they have been better than a Barcelano who I think are going to keep struggling.

I'm not sure if they are better than United. They've had a better start to the season but theres not much evedince to suggest which team is better at the moment. Both champions of there national league & both were average in Europe besides Uniteds 7-1 win against Roma they were lucky to get to the semis.

I don't think they are better than Milan when Milan are at there best. I think Milans Midfield is much better, there defence is better at the moment I think Madrids attack is better but Milan could over take them there aswell if Ronaldo can get back to his best & Pato lives up to his price tag.

I know they won the league last season but that was last season. They've got a new coach in, got rid of a few players & got some new ones. I just think its going to take time until the changes at the club take effect.

An excellent match.
This Sneijder is a pearl. And Raul & Guti are keeping the good line of the last season.
I wanna see Robben though.

Theres no team I support in La Liga, but Barca is club I hate.

Seen this good game for Real. To tell the truth Villareal defence played poor game, but it doesnt depreciate value of this win.

Sneijder seems to be the best transfer this summer - hes like an actor playing every role in Madrid midfield theater. He got great passes, he is intelligent, he got strong shoot from distance, valuable in defence. Hes not kinda superstar. Thats important to me.

This season gonna be interesting I think.

All I can say in spanish is: "Salta de mi camina cabron"

Salta de mi camino cabron - or maybe maricon? I dunno

Lived on Westside (Sickside?) for few years. One of my mex friends taught me this expression. Obviously I have no idea WTF that means. But it sounds good too me.

Shall I great Spanish people with those words?

Laughing

I don't recommend you to say those words unless you're mad with someone.

"Salta de mi camino, cabron" means something like "Get out of my way, you b a s t a r d". Oh and "maricon" means gay, fag

Haha, i thought about him when i heard that.

I think one of the Spanish teams should buy him, maybe Atletico because the top 4 all have awesome right backs. It would be funny though, because he would find out his name sounds remarkably similar to 'gay fag' in Spanish.
