Fredrik Ljungberg was injurd in the match between Arsenal and Chelsea, and Arsene Wenger fears that the injury is a long term one. Ljungberg collided with the advertising hoardings, damaging his knee, and was badly missed by the young Arsenal side in the 1-0 defeat.

This will be a massive blow for Arsenal if he is out for a long term as he is a big player for them.

That will be a big blow if the injury is really serious.

Freddy is a big driving force in the Arsenal side and helps create a lot of openings in the game.

If the injury is long term, it will have long term effects. Arsenal cannot afford to miss any of the starting 11 for a period of time.

yes , we are short of proven goalscorers like freddie and it would be a big blow. That would leave just Henry , Pires and Reyes to get the goals.

It will be a blow but we should manage it somehow. Every big team must.

Freddie is a class player and Arsenal lack some proven options in his position so it could be a problem if he is out long term.

However, Arsenal do have some pretty versatile players who can try to fill the gap, still not good news tho.

The injury is a hairline fracture.
Arsene Wenger said that Ljungberg is expected to not play football for a month.

It now looks like hes only got bruising to his leg so it is not as bad as first feared. He will definitely miss the midweek game against Fulham tho.

Yup we need him back.
My friends said that Freddie at the moment is like the kinda only one that can get through Chelsea's defence, shame he got injured tho.
Does anyone know when he will be like back??

According to Mr Wenger, it "should be a question of days" before Freddie's back. Very Happy
