So we don't have to create separate threads for games we know don't interest many posters here.

Weirdest result yesterday: Malta 2 - 2 Turkey!

I couldn't believe it. Turkey destroyed us in Athens (0-4) but after that they've ben disappointing.

In other games, Ronaldo's, RVN's and Sneijder's goals were all top notch. Owen's too.

Ronaldo's goal was very unusual.

Wesley Sneijder is on fire at the moment!

He is. He seems to have found the form of his life just as Real bought him. I'm curious to see if it will last.

The second was better. Arshavin is a great player, i'm surprised he hasn't been signed by a bigger European club yet.

Two very good goals. I want to see him start doing that for Arsenal soon.

I'd imagine you'd want to use an electric razor rather than a Gillete for the tricky bits?! Wink Or you could simply wax?

yeah, he's one of the best russian players now, I like his technics and flair. But I hate watching him the second forward in the national team. In Zenit he plays a "free-fiddle" or "free-painter", as we call it in Russia. I'd like to see him playing as an attacking mid under two strkers: Sychev and Kerzhakov.

was this question for me? I prefer to grow stubble Laughing

Sorry Peter, I think we lost something in translation! Those with English as a first language find it funny that his name sounds like Arse Shaving, hence the joke by Marios who was basically asking "do you shave your bum?" and my references to electric razors, Gillete, lather, wax and foam!

You've just said you prefer stubble but surely that's uncumfortable when you sit down?! Wink
