This is the toughest game of the group for us, Porto are a good side and they have home advantage. We have a few injuries but that shouldnt hinder us as we've have players that can come straight into the team and do a job. Riise is injured so we'll have Benayoun or Babel on the left. Sissoko is injured so Mascherano will play in the centre with Gerrard if Alonso is still struggling after limping out of training yesterday.

Porto have a few injury worries themselves, Postiga and Adriano may miss the game and I think they're having late fitness tests.

Ricardo Quaresma is Porto's danger man tonight, if we keep him quiet we'll be ok... they still have a lot of quality that can hurt us though.

Defintiley gonna be the toughest match for us, Torres, Babel Gerrard, Mascherano and Finanback in the Squad.

What has Quaresma done to his hair?

1-1 Porto got a penalty but Kuyt just equalised!

Ok First half over, still 1-1.

Porto really dominated us the first 10-15 minutes and we were dreadful, then they got the penalty and converted it well. Once we got the goal we started playing properley and the teams were fairly equal going in to the break.

The ref is whistle happy though, everytime either team made a challenge he gave a foul.

I could see Hyypia was never going to get there for the pass which lead to the penalty, that is the only probablem with Sami. He's a great defender but hasnt got the pace to keep up with these quik strikers. I was surprised to see Aggers omission from the team.



He needs shooting for that.
