Larisa played very well. I was listening to it on the radio and i was surprised by the result. I suppose scoring 2 goals in 1 minute does require a bit of luck, but i saw the goals a few minutes ago and Blackburn's defence made a mess of the second one.

Did you know that Larisa's manager is Georgios Donis, the former Blackburn player?

The Greek teams did very well tonight in the UEFA Cup. Larisa beat Blackburn 2-0, AEK beat Trapattoni's Salzburg 3-0 and Panionios beat Sochaux 0-2! Hopefully, my team Panathinaikos can beat Artmedia and Aris has scored against Zaragoza and is leading 1-0 after 30 minutes. Greece definitely needs the points, as we've dropped to 18th-19th in the UEFA rankings. Romania is now 6th, ahead of Germany!

And, of course, Anorthosis is now playing Tottenham, but i don't expect them to do much. They're a solid team in Cyprus, but i don't think they can take on Spurs.
