Laughing I can only imagine that Fergie didn't want to win this one so much... Simpson, Pique, O'Shea and Eagles out of position...

-------------Kuszczak

Bardsley-Evans-Pique-Simpson

Nani-Anderson-O'Shea-Martin

--------Eagles
-------------------Dong

Aw well, gotta leave something for the lesser clubs to feed on while we catch some respite for a few vital midweeks.

It's always good to see United get beat! Wink Whatever the circumstances.

That does like a sh!te team they put out though.

I havnt seen any of the match yet. Good following from Coventry on the night though.

Good result for the Sky Blues despite the team United put out. Emphatic 4-0 win for Chelsea against Hull and Leicester knocking out Villa, in hat was supposed to be an awful game, is still a great result for Megson.

I want to know how "the next Ronaldo" Nani and "the next Ronaldinho" Anderson went against the mighty Coventry.

I assume it didn't go well for them, and i assume it didn't go well for the next Puyol, Neville, and Ferdinand either.

Anyone see Lee Dixon talking on SSNews about Arsenal team?

What the hell were the animals making noises in the background?

And - has he found a new designer outfit to supply his clothes?

Fantastic result for Coventry.

Okay, United didn't field their strongest team....but although it pains me to say it, neither do the Arse and look at the devestation they leave in their wake.

Saying that Sparky, they still had Nani, Anderson, Carrick, Brown, O'Shea, Eagles.

Should have overturned Coventry.

yeah it is always good when the usual big teams get beat ...Man Utd , Chelsea , Liverpool , Tottenham ...etc . I dont think Man Utd will be panicking too much though , they just didnt do the business on the night and were perhaps a little complacent against a Coventry side who were obviously up for it and keen to show they can compete with the big teams .

The major problem for Sir Alex was this was the competition to give his youngsters the chance to get a few games and show him what they can do , now its all over at the first hurdle , will Sir Alex risk them in the other competitions when it will matter a lot more ..
