In the form they were during the WWC or the way we like them in general?

Cos if first, I might have to put a German in my goal Shocked

Nah, I'll go with Solo - she's the best in the world,
and she was in good form during the WWC
which we could clearly see
until she was kicked out of the squad for nothing.

Some of the players I've chosen, have not played full games
but when they were, they did good.
You can't blame the players for coaches' odd decisions.

Solo (USA)

Krahn (Ger)
Westberg (Swe)
Stoney (Eng)

Stensland (Nor)
Chapman (Eng)
Smith (Eng)
Daniela (Bra)

Marta (Bra)
R.Gulbrandsen (Nor)
Wambach (USA)

Subs (one in each line):
Angerer (Ger)
Phillip (Eng)
Klaveness (Nor)
De Vanna (Aus)

FIFA's All-star team:

Goalkeepers:
Nadine ANGERER (GER, No1), Bente NORDBY (NOR, No1).

Defenders: LI Jie (CHN, No3), Kerstin STEGEMANN (GER, No2), Ariane HINGST (GER, No17), Ane STANGELAND HORPESTAD (NOR, No2).

Midfielders: DANIELA (BRA, No7), FORMIGA (BRA, No8), Kelly SMITH (ENG, No10), Renate LINGOR (GER, No10), Ingvild STENSLAND (NOR, No4), Kristine LILLY (USA, No13).

Forwards: Lisa DE VANNA (AUS, No11), MARTA (BRA, No10), CRISTIANE (BRA, No11), Birgit PRINZ (GER, No9).

------------------------------------------

Have no idea how Lilly got in there cos she was poor this WC
She looked slow and not very creative.
I wasn't overly impressed with Prinz either

I guess they're just names that have to be put in there on previous merit?

Who picked those?! Confused

Stangeland? Even Huse was a lot better than her.

Prinz? Confused Yeah, she scored something, but so did Gulbrandsen (6 in 6 games),
her goals were more entertaining and she was more creative than Frau Birigt.

Always the same names - Hingst, Stegemann, what about Krahn?

Previous merit sounds about right.
