The scottishs are back

2 victories against France, Celtic have won against Milan Ac and Rangers have won against Lyon. It's good year for the scottish football.

If it wasn't for that horrible display by Celtic in Ukraine it would have been a perfect start for the Scots.

Weve been on the up for a few years now weve had teams in the last 16 the last two years for the first time. With hardly any money compared to all the other teams in Europe. People just asume our league is shite without actully watching it.

to be honest i dont watch scottish football much as i am english ....simple as that . However the only teams that you always here about in Scotland are Celtic and Rangers ...i just class the SPL as a bit boring in the fact that only Celtic or Rangers are going to win the league ...over the last 10 years who has won the league title ....only Celtic or Rangers . Who always scores the most goals in a season ..Celtic or Rangers . Who has scored the most points in a season ....Celtic or Rangers . Who has conceded the fewest goals in a season ....Celtic or Rangers . Who has had the most wins in a season ...Celtic or Rangers ... Who has had the biggest goal difference in a season...Celtic or Rangers

So i wont say Scottish football is sh*t , but it is just so boring the same two teams fighting each other each season . Hearts or maybe Hibernian may surprise a few people early on but you just kone end of season it will be either Celtic or Rangers .

It's already much they have 2 good teams.

That's very true. Republic of Ireland have a population of over 4million people, and look at their club football. It could be a lot worse for Scotland, yet they have two clubs who now are becoming some sort of force in Europe. The league may be predictable, but having teams of that quality is still a massive feat.

As a nation i like to see Scotland do well, and they're doing unbelievably well to top a group in which they lead France, Italy and Ukraine. For Rangers to thump Lyon and Stuttgart with Celtic beating AC Milan, well that just puts the icing on the cake.

Long may it continue..

Not forgetting that the EPL consists of 20 teams where the SPL has 12 and England has been dominated by 3 teams (but mainly United & Arsenal) in 15years

If you actually watched scottish football you would see that scottish football is on the up. the past couple of seasons the likes of hibs hearts and aberdeen have been beating the old firm which wasnt happening as often 5 or 6 years ago. hibs beat rangers 3-0 at ibrox last season, hearts beat celtic 2-0 at celtic park in the cup last week. other sides arent challenging for the title yet, but hey, its a start and far more refreshing than the last few years. and as for the national side....the group speaks for itself

I dont think those points are valid at all, i mean whos realistically gonna win the premiership? only Man Utd, Arsenal, Chelsea and possibly Liverpool at a stretch, those teams will also have the most goals scored, fewest conceded, best goal difference, mostwins etc. Now you may say that theres four teams challanging for the league compared to just two in scotland but you havnt taken into account the fact hat the SPL is made up of just 12 teams while the premiership is made up of 20teams, so basically it evens itself out when you compare numbers like that.

A point against Lyon in their final game will see Rangers through, as will a win for Celtic tonight by 3 clear goals - are the Scots starting to get it right on the European stage now?

I am even hearing stories of Rangers supporters backing Celtic after the Dida incident...what next, Celtic fans donning the Union flag?!
