Hmmmm!

1 - 1 agg score so far which means we're needing a 2 - 2 at least here. I think a win for us is on the cards though as one of the merseyside teams has to prove themselves worthy in europe. Cool

Now come on footy forum users, lets support our British team into the next round. I know you's all want to. Wink And what do you think the outcome of tonights game will be? or what do you hope it will be????

Should be a cracker if the first leg in anything to go by. At Goodison Park Kharkiv were strong, physical and look composed on the ball whilst very dangerous going forward. No doubt they may feel the loss of the two suspensions but i think they can do it.

1-0 Metalist!

There's a tougher backbone to Everton these days - I fancy them to nick a cheeky 1-0 also....good luck Toffees.

Yeah and we were laughed at for not beating a unknown team. I think that team on the night could of given any prem team a good run for their money.

you need 2 goals now.

Can't see it happening in this game.

Metalist look very decent so far.

It was always going to be tough for Everton going to Ukraine with Kharkiv having that all important away goal.

They can still qualify of course, but their up against it now.

2-1. A goal will still put Everton through on away goals, but the blow of conceding straight after equalising will be damaging to their spirit.

Fantastic goal by Anichebe seals the win, with a minute to go.

Quite harsh on Kharkiv as they've probably been the better side for this leg (albeit Everton were the better for the first). I guess someone has to win though..

Good away result for Everton then, considering Metalist were the better team on the pitch according to reports.

4-2 then? That looks good for the Toffees - group stages of Europe. Looking up for them with them being 5th in the league as well.

I was actually getting excited when it was 2-1,even thinking about what i could say to rub your nose in it,but they had to go and spoil it for me didn't they lol

Have to give credit where it is due though,i honestly thought Everton didn't have the heart in them to come back from 2-1 down but they showed great spirit to not only come back but to even win with a fine goal from Anichebe who showed great composure for someone so young

Well played
