next match up for Arsenal at Highbury is a visit by Fulham . What can we expect on Wednesday evening , who will Wenger play instead of Freddie Ljungberg and what do you reckon the score will be .

I expect a win of course and think Dennis Bergkamp will return . The score i think will be 3-0 to Arsenal.

According to Arsenal.com, Bergkamp has a back problem, "but we'll see tomorrow morning" says AW.
Why not give Song a try as Fulham are the only London team below us Shocked
If we can't win this, forget the season Evil or Very Mad

If Dennis is out, than the midfield has to be Hleb, Fabregas, Gilberto and Pires, Henry up front with either Reyes or van Persie.....yes? no?

we really need to up the tempo in this match , get back to the way we were playing a year ago when we could score 2 or 3 in 15mins or so. That will get the confidence going again . We should also stop trying to pass the ball into the net , sometimes we do one pass too many .

Come on Henry a hatrick would be nice. Smile

Actually It is really time for Henry first hattrick this year! Very Happy But He shouldn't be isolated in front as He was during the whole last game with Chelsea. I hope tonight He will recieve better balls from Fabregas and Pires.

I just finished watching the game, a 4-1 win for Arsenal, 2 goals from Henry, and 2 from Cygan (yikes!). I must say I have mixed emotions on the play of the Gunners. It's extremely frustrating to watch them attack 'wave after wave' only to try and be to precise with one to many passes or something out of the ordinary at the end and see a good opportunity go nigh. If they just shot the ball more, well, never mind.

Yes, that's not a misprint, Cygan who will gladly give you a heart attack or two while defending found the back of the net, not once, but twice. And, well done.

I thought Hleb played well again, seemed to loose some steam in the 2nd half, but played end to end.

Gilberto was very lackluster, and if Fabregas ever learns how to shoot, well he'll have a bunch of goals!

And finally, Bergkamp grabbing the linesmen’s flag out of his hand which earned him a yellow card, and really should have been a red for the offense was absolutely stupid. I don't even have to remind my 8-9 boys not to do that.

All in all, it's a win, and after the Chelsea loss it's good to bounce back. I'm just waiting for them to fire on all cylinders, because right now they aren't. But Ill take it, 3 points is 3 points...... Cool

Also I'm probably the exception here, but I want us to go for the perfect goal Exclamation
I don't know what that goal will be (maybe Maradona's hand of God, but without God Very Happy

I like the perfect goals as well, but as a team we'll get those, but its the very good chances we miss out on when we pass up good shots in order to attempt to get the perfect goal....We can have both Very Happy

another way to look at it also is how many times last season should we have wrapped up a game but failed because we tried to pass the ball into the net instead of just shooting when we had the chance. I am sure we would have won a few more matches that way and maybe just maybe we might still have been in with a chance of the title.

I'm sure you're right there conner. I suppose that before we play the pretty stuff, we should wrap games up with whatever goals we can.
I remember years ago a well-known player (but I forget who) was coming up to a landmark goal, 100th for his club or whatever, and an interviewer asked him what sort of goal he'd like it to be, and he replied "I don't care if it goes in off my a*se as long as it goes in the net".
Perhaps that should apply to us more - after all Chelski are three points ahead of us only because of a goal off a knee Exclamation If it wasn't for that we'd now be ahead of them in the prem - same points and goal difference, but more goals scored.

yes true and in that match we had a few shooting chances but opted to pass instead which ended up the wrong decision in my opinion.
