Southampton defender Andrew Davies is in line for a debut after joining on loan from Middlesbrough and centre-half Darren Powell is fit after injury. Top-scorer Grzegorz Rasiak and fellow striker Bradley Wright-Phillips are also available to play on Sunday.

Midfielder Trevor Sinclair should return after missing Cardiff's last game following minor knee surgery.

Strikers Steve MacLean and Jason Byrne also return to the squad, leaving Riccy Scimeca as the only injury absentee.

The game is not too far away from kick off for anyone who is interested.

Cardiff are sitting in 14th on 13 points, with Soton in 16th on the same points.

Both teams are coming off good home wins against good opposition which should make it a tight affair.

I'll go for a 1 - 1 draw. Stern John for Soton, Hasselbaink for Cardiff.

Just heard an interesting stat that Cardiff haven't won in Soton since 1962/63 Neutral

Already an injury to a Soton player, subbed off after 7 minutes - Rudi Skacel his replacement.

There were always going to be goals in this one at the rate Southampton are scoring and also conceding at the moment.

Finished 1-0 to Southampton. A home win that i doubt will ease much of the pressure of George Burley as i hear that Cardiff were dominant throughout the game at St. Marys.

two teams struggling this season, ok so southampton are like 12th and thats not that bad but they are a team tipped for promotion this season, abit of a boring game to be honest. Fowler should of scored in the last couple of minutes.
