That was a very disappointing result, More comical defending and there wasnt much threat up-front. Voronin just isnt doing it in-front of goal at the moment, he keeps fluffing his chances. He's working hard but he should have really scored with the chance that he had in the first half. I was surprised not to see Crouch start the game, he did well when he came on and played a part in Gerrards goal but the damage was done by then.

We did have some good possession in the second half and were probing the Besiktas area but once we got there the moves would just break down, then they hit us on the break with the second goal which ultimately meant defeat. This game was a huge blow to our Champions League campaign but you can quote me on this when I say We will qualify for the knock-out stages of the Champions League!
