That has to be up there with some of Liverpool's greatest ever matches! What a game! Benayoun was magical! Everything he did worked. He was almost perfect tonight. He scored 3, and got two great assists. And it wasn't just his goals and assists, his overall play was superb as well. |

Exquisite football from us tonight what more can be said? I could go on all night about our flawless performance J-Axe styley but I won't
 It was just amazing to watch all the goals fly in and I was so happy for the players that scored but mainly Ryan Babel who needed something like this to boost his confindece, he should have really had a hatrick though

EDIT: Oh look, out come the United fans with the ol' ''oh but... but...erm... i could've scored a hat-trick against that defence.'' Sure, they didn't defence well, but neither did Slavia Prague in the Arsenal game. That didn't stop everyone creaming over that performance. Besiktas are better that Slavia, and 8-0 is an even bigger scoreline. Sorry Arsenal, your record didn't last long did it?! |
