If Liverpool fail to win this at home then they're more embarassingly poor than i thought. The manager and players know that the only chance they have of going through is by winning all 3 remaining matches. Could they fail their first of the 3 tests? I'd be surprised... well, maybe not...

ForzaBJK, do you think that Besiktas might let the defeat at Fenerbahce (and the way it came: Besiktas opening the score and Fener making a comeback) affect their game/psychology? Or do you think they are a different team in Europe?

We generally have higher concentration on European games.

Make or Break time here, we Have to win here, going out at the group stages of the Champions League is unthinkable.

Well it's like 2005 all over again,having to win to qualify after a poor start,i'm not worrying at all simply because Liverpool respond better when they're up against it all,we know we have to win at all costs so there's no point playing defensive,we have to go out and attack Besiktas and show them the real Liverpool and get revenge in the process

I had a BIG smile on my face till I got to that bit.

I'm very confident that we'll win this game, there's so much at stake. I expect us to play high-tempo football for the first 20 minutes or so and hit them hard when they are in possession, i even think we'll get a goal or 2 in the first half. I'm surprised that Torres is in the squad but we do need him, it's a big risk rushing him back from injury. Maybe Rafa will start him on the bench and only bring him on if we are struggling in the second half. Rafa will probably go with Crouch and Kuyt up-front because we're going for the win and Crouch will get about the Besiktas defence and cause them problems.
