Goal by Keanaldo!

Nice volley after some good work by Steed on the left who pulled it back from the byline to Keane in the middle.

Honestly, when Keane plays, he always scores first. Absolute banker. What a player

Almost exactly the same play from Steed, and this time Berbs is on the end of it with his head to nod home number 2.

It sounds like the Ramos effect is working already, Spurs will probably beat the beleaguered Wigan on Sunday aswell. I agree with what CFCBhoy said about Keane, he's so consistent and he continues to be Spurs most influential player.

Bent made a few good runs but wasnt picked out and when he was he went round the keeper should of scired but scuffed his left foot shot and it rolled and hit post.

But Boateng was very good when he came on, Jenas had a good game so did zokora lennon was alright needs to work on his crossing.

Motm

Keane 8.5/10

2nd

Chimbonda at CB 8/10

3rd

Malbranque also had a cracker 8/10

Chimbonda at CB looks better than kaboul.

Hapoel is showing no football this season with 3 points (all draws) in 8 matches so far. They are ranked 12 out of 12 in the weak Israeli league.
What potentially difficult tie?!

Maybe difficult because Spurs are somewhat an unknown quantity at the moment? With the recent sacking of Jol where Spurs were leaking goals and the implementation of Juande Ramos no one knew what reaction the players would give to an away tie in the far reaches of so called europe, hence making it a tricky tie.

Great to see the changes already to the style we play under Ramos, we definitely are playing at a faster pace and with more movement off the ball to give the man in possession more options.

They were an unknown quantity in a potentially volatile part of the world - I didn't have any idea they were that poor.
Sounds as though it turned out a walk in the park, but I wouldn't have wanted to tempt fate prior to kick off by even contemplating the thought that it may be.

I'd deem any away trip to the Middle East not an easy task, whoever the opposition are.
