Totally gutted again
It was still 0-0 in the Cobh game with 15 minutes left and Finn Harps were 3-0 up meaning we would have been champions if it stayed like that. But typically Cobh scored in the 75th minute to win the league by one point.
Harps play Dundalk in the playoff semi finals next Friday and if we come through that then we take on Waterford for a place in the Premier League.
21 wins in 25 games in the title run in wasnt even enough so I cant really fault the players, just a shame we started the season so badly. Congratulations to Cobh though, only one defeat since last March and that was against Harps so they deserved the title in the end
