Hahaha just the fact of comparing Raul with paquete Torres makes me laugh Laughing
Mate, let's talk about facts in this season because that's what you want.
Raul, who is not a centre forward, has scored more than Torres, who IS a center forward. Besides, he's the leader in assistances in Real Madrid Wink
Top scorer in Champions League history and I could go on forever

Raul is also an ageing force who has seen his best days in believe. Comparing Torres to Raul is silly as both men are at different points of there carers.

Raul lost it for a while due to his injuries, but i think it's safe to say he's managed to make a comeback.

And i agree that he's still better than Torres. And it's too soon to compare Bojan to Raul.

Ok if he continues playing as up to now, I admit he has a place in the national team (I saw the last match against racing santander and he was amazing)

And that thing about Raul having trouble finding a place back in the Real's team is something you totally made up.

Capello's comments regarding Raul, from yesterday (i believe):

http://goal.com/en/Articolo.aspx?ContenutoId=508144

Quote:
"When I took over as coach of Madrid for the second time for the 2006-07 season it appeared that the main priority was to loan out Raśl," Capello said.

"Why? Well, the first reason was his age and then the huge salary he earned in comparison with his performances on the pitch.

"In my first meeting with the president and technical staff I expressed my doubts about what they had told me.

"I said that supporting a player who was almost 30 with his class and his personality was fundamental for the team."

While Raśl may have only scored five goals in 26 league appearances during the 2005-06 campaign, Capello was well aware of his status among the fans and the squad.

Now, call Capello a liar if you want, maybe he is, but according to him Real Madrid were planning to offload Raul when they hired the Italian coach. Wouldn't that mean that he had trouble finding his place in the team? I mean, surely, if the executives at your club were happy with him they wouldn't have even mentioned the possibility of selling/loaning him to Capello.

I'm sorry for re-igniting this silly little argument, but you can't just call people liars (you said i "made it up") and expect a pat on the back.

Mijatovic already said that story is not true at all, but hey we won't really know what happened. I don't like our president, and it wouldn't be the first time Real Madrid sack someone who is just perfect for the team (i.e. Del Bosque, Makelele).

Raul has been in terrific form this season, really suprised me... but i dont he will get called up, and with the amount of forwards spain have, i dont really see the reason why they need too.
