But a big maybe:)) That was ridicolous,Croatians haven't lost in 23 qualifiers in a row,and now 2-0 against Macedonia? True it didn't matter, but still...

Bilic asked the UEFA officials to postpone the match and yet it was played, the match itself was something I've never seen in my life, not one pass was completed by either side,it was anti-football event really..

Shame about the pitch, but Macedonia are not as bad as people make out.

Looks like it could well be 2 losses in a row for Croatia.

It's silly to blame a bad result on the pitch. After all, both teams have to play on it.

If the pitch wasn't in a good condition then maybe UEFA should have postponed the game, but you can't say that the reason you lost was the pitch. It's one of the worst excuses in football and managers/players who use that excuse after a defeat are always humiliated in the press for making up excuses.

you didn't watch the game, this pitch was something unimaginable ,that suits the macedonian side, since they are weaker,Bilic wasn't looking for an alibi,he just simply asked the game to be postponed,it's not his style to blame the pitch, and he congratulated macedonians, they won fairly, but I must repeat the conditions suited macedonians, and if they played on a normal pitch croats would have probably won the game, they are much stronger.

Or they might have still lost. If you are much stronger you would haven't lost 2-0 just because of the pitch. I agree with marios on this.

In any case, the only way you'd have gone out would've been if Russia won their two games and you'd lost both yours (losing the last 2-0). It wasn't likely to matter and didn't matter. Although that said, if Russia had won..

In the half time croats knew israel won,and at that point it was 0-0,so the second half didn't matter at all,but I'll have to post a link for people to see in what condition that pitch was,of course it suits a weaker side,on that pitch Brasil couldn't win ,I'm, sure of it.It was impossible to complete a pass, that was mood over there, but litterally.

But anyways, even though the croatians knew they are through, the match still shouldn't have been held,I'm talking about any match under those conditions. What if that match mattered?
