''I don't see an outcry from Arsenal fans on this forum about the game. If Wenger and Touré were complaining, I'd like to see or hear that. Have you got some evidence of that? I'd honestly be interested to hear what they've got to say.

All I've read is Wenger's post-match comments on Arsenal.com which hit the nail on the head. He was fair and accurate about the result and admitted that the defeat was partly our fault and Sevilla's superiority on the night.''

Both said it live in ITV.

''No, that's your theory and of course you know more than Wenger. Wenger clearly explained that his target was to qualify and to do well in the League - in where there's especially a tough run of games for us. Three away games against sides who've caused us problems in the past. We could have risked Gallas (for example) last night in a game we didn't need to win, then he would have been very tired or possibly injured for the three crucial games next week, which are games we need to do well in!''

I said YOU, not Wenger.

''You've made it quite clear why though, so you don't need to ramble on about that any more.

But that's a stupid thing to say, if you take a step back and look at it pal.

What if Gilberto had of had a good game? What if he had of put in a World-class performance like he is capable of in the Champions League?''

It may be, but i doesn't stop people saying things like that on TV, football talk shows and Newspapers.

I'm forever hearing people say Arsenal would've won the Champions League if Lehmann didn't get sent off. What if Lehamn got injured?

what if Henry got sent off? What if Eto'o scored a hat-trick? What if their was a mass brawl (not something Arsenal can say they're yet to experience) and all the players got sent off?

We can go around responding like that about everything. Most don't though, because it's bloody annoying, and people like to talk about Ifs and buts. England fans are always saying ''oh, if only we beat Macedonia'', ''if only we Robinson played well against Croatia in the first leg'', if only ''Rooney and Lampard played well for England''.

Sevilla v Arsenal
