I once stood near the edge of Beachy Head for a pic on a hol, and I didn't fall off - but wouldn't do it again, just in case.

I feel a bit like that with snakes

well they said if he was going to move...then you have to walk back for a bit. somethimes he had then a suprise attack. (i didnt see it.)

Some snakes can be so quick though - I was reading about a guy (in Africa somewhere) who got bitten, and the snake could move faster than he could walk.
