Doubt: Steven Gerrard, John Terry, David James, Alan Smith

Sven-Goran Eriksson will name his squad this evening.

Eriksson: "Then we have to decide how we will play our 4-4-2; if we want to play it as we did in Copenhagen in the first half or if we want to make it like a diamond.

"It might depend on Steven Gerrard's fitness too. We have to talk to Liverpool and him on Monday and Tuesday to find out if he's going to be fit."

I think there is still plenty enough of talent there to handle Wales (sorry, twmcat)....currently Rooney is playing very well, but goals must come from others as well. Someone in the midfield must start scoring, Lampard and Gerrard must take over like they are capable of doing. I'm looking forward to this, I'll probably have to go to the English pub in San Diego to watch it, but thats part of the fun, being surrounded by the Wales and English supporters......

Sven was trying out a 4-5-1 formation which makes it sound like Jermain Defoe would be dropped to the bench.

I thought it was Phil Neville the way sky sports were talking yesterday when they did an interview with him. It sounded like he was starting.

I think Beckham, Rooney and Robinson are the best today.

What do you think about the 4-5-1 formation?

I wasnt a fan of the set up!

I would have preffered Scott Parker in the holding roll - Gerrard Left Beckham right and Lampard in the middle but to be fair Lampard is still yet to impress me this season!

Rooney worked hard and the defense looked solid!

They missed TERRY FOR ME BUT oWEN WOULD HAVE MADE SOME DIFFERENCE IN THE STANDARD 442 FORMATION!
