Group B is reminiscent of World War 2. poor Poland.

will be some good games in there and i will certainly be watching the tournament unfold regardless of the supposed 'home nations' farce.

Blimey Group C looks a bit of a humdinger!

Some great looking fixtures there, I'm looking foward to seeing some cracking matches next summer.

Yep. When you have the world's best keeper behind you, the confidence will be high. They are a very strong side and often underestimated

I wonder what price I'd get on France beating Italy in the group stages and Italy repaying the favour in the final

On their day, anyone can beat anyone in Group C. Romania put in a good qualifying campaign. Beat Holland at least once too IIRC

Yea in another group Romania would have had a good shot of progressing, they will give all those teams a decent match.

Romanian team looks very good, and they are in a kind of "nothing to lose" position. If they dont qualify it will be perfecly normal, and if they do it will be a huge achievement. I can see them beating France in the debut and then a tie against Netherlands and another smart draw in last match against Italy, which will qualify both teams. In A Czech and Portugal to pass, with Switzerland offering some resistance; in C Germany and Croatia without major problems and in D Spain will thrash everyone but lose in next knock-out round (as always), with either Greece or Sweden also qualifying and leaving in next stage

The toughest group to pick from, but not the toughest group.

Group B: Austria, Poland, Germany, Croatia

Finally some decent competion for Croatia. Laughing

Group C: Holland, France, Romania, Italy

Oh lordy, one of the superpowers out

Group D: Greece, Russia, Spain, Sweden

Current champs have a decent enough chance of going through, but I wouldnt back them at all. LAY LAY

Need to look at the fixtures and some other stuff, back in a bit.

Haha so true Laughing

Hard group for Italy but I think it's better to start the competition against big teams, it helps to don't lose the focus

Seems not too difficult for Spain, but I wouldn't be surprised if we're out earlier than I'm expecting.

I dont get how 3 of the best teams in europe can be drawn in the same group, the seeding system is crap, this just means one of the best teams is sure to go out meaning the appeal of the tournament will be lower. I know smaller teams get a better chance because of this but id rather see the netherlands in the quarters than bloody poland.
