Japanese side Urawa Red Diamonds booked their place at the tournament by beating Sepahan of Iran 3-1 on aggregate in the final of the AFC Champions League in November 2007.

Etoile Sportive du Sahel (TUN)
Tunisia's Etoile du Sahel shocked Al Ahly 3-1 on aggregate to claim their first CAF Champions League crown and book a place at Japan 2007.

AC Milan (ITA)
Italy's AC Milan qualified for Japan 2007 with a 2-1 win over Liverpool in the final of the UEFA Champions League in Athens on 23 May 2007.

Club de Futbol Pachuca (MEX)
Pachuca became the first team to qualify for Japan 2007 after beating fellow Mexicans 7-6 on penalties following a 2-2 aggregate draw in the two-legged CONCACAF Champions Cup final on 25 April 2007.

Waitakere United (NZL)
New Zealand's Waitakere United qualified for the FIFA Club World Cup by beating Fijian champions Ba on the away goals rule following a 2-2 aggregate draw in the two-legged O-League final on 29 April 2007. *Waitakere United with have to play-off against J.League champion to qualify for the knock-out stages

Boca Juniors (ARG)
Boca Juniors booked their place at Japan 2007 after winning this year's Copa Libertadores de America. The Argentinian side claimed their sixth continental crown at the expense of Brazil's Gremio after following up their victory in the first leg of the final in Buenos Aires (3-0) with an away win (2-0) in Porto Alegre.

Sepahan (IRN)
Iran's Sepahan, who finished as runners-up in the AFC Champions League, will play-off against Waitakere United for a place in the knockout stages.

I've watched the match.. Milan and Boca will surely have problems beating Sepahan Laughing

Really poor goalkeepers (but I heard the one of Sepahan wasn't the 1st keeper) for both teams

I didn't get to see the match and I don't really know much about either of those clubs. Sad But now the real tournament starts on the 9th. The match today was just a qualifying match for the last club. Smile

Sydney FC were in this last year but we (Australia) have moved to the Asian Confederation obviously.
