Nice write-up and insight into the MLS teams there Papa5murf - particularly to someone as unfamiliar as myself with the league. Are many of the games televised in the US?

Unfortunately no. They do have a contract with ESPN to show the "showcase" Thursday night game on 'ESPN 2'. And then there's the Fox Soccer Channel who has the rights to a package of weekly matches. Usually on Saturday nights. Fox Soccer Channel is not a basic cable channel so it requires a subscription through ones local cable tv provider.

Then there's the other random stations that not everyone has access to. Fox Sports en Espa�ol, HDNet, and Univision and its family of networks. The first two being subscription channels, and Univision only being in your basic cable package if you're in an area with a lot of Latinos.

However, me, living in Washington D.C.. We have our local sports channel, "Comcast Sports Net" who shows most of the D.C. United games. (which is great for me, since D.C. United is one of the best clubs in the MLS).

There is also the "MLS Direct Kick" package, which is a special pay per view type channel which has been expanded to ensure that every league match is broadcast. This channel is run by the MLS.

Now when it comes to out of league matches: CONCACAF Champions' Cup, SuperLiga (against Mexican League); You'd have to flip the channel to a Spanish channel to watch it.

Thats not too bad, I wasn't sure if you'd have decent access - but I guess with the internet & streaming, there's always plan B!

He played for the Kansas City Wizards (1996-2001) having 149 appearances and scoring 31 goals. He also managed Red Bull New York (2005/2006). And with Toronto, they managed to set a league record at 824 minutes without a goal. Laughing

Toronto fans are pretty dedicated though averaging 20,130 per game, third highest in the league behind L.A. Galaxy and DC United.

Just looking into some stats about my favourite player ever (Jimmy Johnstone), and realised the had a 9-game spell at San Jose Earthquake's back in the 70's Shocked

do you also find it weird that ac milan and inter milan both share the san siro as their home ground, or at one point in the last couple of yeras, when craven cottage was under renavation, Fulham and QPR had to share loftus road as their home ground?
