First of all, thanks to everyone for all the kind words about footiemap.com. It's really turned into quite a phenominon.

We definitely haven't sat on our bums lately. We've added a massively important new feature where we support multiple seasons per country. So now visitors can see maps of past seasons as well as the current season. The level of detail we track from season to season is pretty impressive, including club crests, league logos, cup logos, stadium name/locations, league structures, sponsorships, cup winners, etc. We currently have 20 countries live on the site, with a total of 31 seasons. Make sure to keep coming back often, as work continues every day to add new countries and seasons.

We have a team of about 10 people (and growing) maintaining the country information. Are you interested, or do you know anyone who is interested in maintaining a country? If so, please contact us via the Contact link of our website. All the folks maintaining the countries have really enjoyed doing so, and there is a lot of knowledge gained about this beautiful sport when doing so.

Thanks again and please do us a favor by sharing footiemap.com with other passionate football fans.

Woah, just spent ages going around this great site. Never realised how close together some grounds are. Dens Park and Tannadice look like they're right next door to each other.

this is an amazing site. my only suggestion is to add a zoom in/out feature because it would be cool to be able to see an entire country at a glance. maybe this feature already exists and i just missed it. if so, could you point me to it? again, awesome maps!

Pretty good.

Just one observation: Botafogo don't play in Caio Martins anymore. They were using Maracanã and now they have the "Estádio Olímpico João Havelange", a.k.a, "Engenhão".

Hey everyone, thanks so much for all of the kind comments about my site. We are expanding rapidly and therefore really need help maintaining countries. If you know of a country we aren't yet mapping or even if a country is already being done which you'd have an interest in maintaining, please let me know. We'd love to have you join our team.

I want to share a website I've created, which I've put a lot of time and effort into for some time now. It contains a map of England along with zoomed-in maps of larger cities and/or areas of England with more than one football club. The maps are HUGE and the site takes a bit of time to load even on broadband, but I think it's well worth it for passioniate football fans. I had wanted to find such a thing a while back, but unfortunately could not find it anywhere on the Internet. So I created it. It shows all Premiership, Coca Cola Football League, and Nationwide Football Conference teams, so there are quite a few teams shown. Each team's stadium is marked with a little soccer ball on the maps. Please let me know what you think, and let others know about it. I really want to promote the site and share it with others. Thanks much.

The site is: http://www.footiemap.com

how do i get my photo's on this thread ?
