To welcome you to your Uefa cup games for next season now you're in joint Seventh position in the league after the great Manchester United beating you lot at analfield. You better hope Portsmouth and Man city start losing or you might not even get in it.

This must be hard to say for a Madrid fan. You cant keep big players right now and Fenerbahce snap up them, right? If its true Real Madrid gets lower as a team.

No silly, but if the player doesn't feel comfortable with the president (coach or whoever else), it's obvious you have to leave. It happened to Beckham (when he left Man United), Motta (with Barcelona), and a lot of players in the world.

I think you're a Inter fan, so this could be useful to understand your way to criticise Carlos. You are so sorry to transfer out Carlos to Real Madrid when he is young and this is the reason why you underestimate Carlos right now. This is one of the biggest transfer faults of Inter.

He's an AC Milan fan and he's right. R. Carlos is done. He probably stands out for Fernabache because they are an average team in an average league. I'm sure he would look fantastic for Celtic too, but playing against quality players in the CL, he is going to be exposed.

He has been on a decline for a few years now and I havn't rated at all for the past few seasons. I would love to see him up against Ronaldo or Messi and watch the torture him

i can say draw or not Man U will get the easiest test possible as they just have a way of getting things to go \their way. Arsenal will be drawn with inter or barca, and thats exactrly how i want it. with the cl its about being the best, beating everyone. i wouldnt want to win te thing and then have soeone say oh well you played an injured real team then only had to face a minnow like schalke. i want to beat inter, barca, milan all the big guns.

3th World Cup?

It's the 1st time Milan wins one of those club "World Cups", so it can't be the 3rd for Maldini. Maybe you meant he won 2 Intercontinental cups, but he's not the only one who plays in the team, right?
So you can't really say that because he's like 40 years old and he has won everything, but it doesn't mean he's the best. It's like when Karembeu won the Champions League and the World Cup in the same year...

Maldini is a bit more than a corpse this days. He's losing his dignity by playing in the conditions he is now. His class is avoiding him worst spectacles but he's definitely not in a good shape

I repeat: did you see the match against boca juniors? he played on the left side, and he played a great match, sometimes dribbling someone on the way to the cross ( unbelievable for a 39 years player)
its not a corpse after all

Unfortunately I've watched it Laughing

And yes you're right that match he played quite well, offensively mainly, so that me and my brother waching him play facetiously thought he was under the effect of drugs or something Laughing

Yes but the career comes to an end for every player. Maldini is a legend and has still class but he's no more 25-28 yo he's almost 40 now and it's normal at that advanced age to be in emabarassing phyisical conditions.

If your post was referred to mine than you can see I've never questioned his abilities as a player, I've just said that he's a corpse now that he's 40ish. Just watch him play this season and you'll see how quick players dribble him easily and this didn't happen in the past

Roberto Carlos was better for around 2 seconds. The length of time it took for that free-kick to hit the back of the net against France in Le Tournoi.
