Drogheda United midfielder Stephen Bradley is set to join Scottish Premier League outfit Falkirk.

The former Arsenal youth player passed a medical and is only awaiting international clearance before rubber-stamping the move, which will take place during the transfer window.

Falkirk head coach John Hughes said: 'Stephen spent some time with us a few weeks back and he is certainly a very talented footballer.

'He had a fantastic football education under Liam Brady and Arsene Wenger at Arsenal and I am sure he will show those qualities at Falkirk.'

Drogheda signed Adam Hughes from Sligo last month so he probably wouldnt have been first choice next season anyway. Should be a decent enough signing for Falkirk

Well Falkirk aren't exactly a very attractive club to be honest. Drogheda will have Champions League football next season while Falkirk will probably be battling relegation

Doubt that Conal. Falkirk are probably the second best footballing side in the SPL behind Celtic. Yogi Hughes has them playing some brilliant football and I think they'll be pushing for a Uefa Cup spot. They are the first SPL team that have came to Parkhead in a long time and played their own game. Teams normally come and try to defend for a point for 90 mins and usually get humped. They came and attacked, ok they were beat 4-0 but on another day they could have got something from the game.

Don't know much about Bradley to be honest but I'm sure he'll not find it easy to get into the side with players like Moutinho, Thompson, Riera & Latapy
