Kris Boyd ?

Can someone tell me why Kris Boyd isn't playing for Rangers or Scotland regulary?

He was dropped and is currently 3rd choice behind Cousin & Darcheville who are both better players. Scotland he's behind Kenny Miller who will run but he tends to get a game when they are looking for a more physical approach. McLeish wants him at Birmingham too

Kris Boyd has bags of talent, he is one of the most natural goalscorers in scotland, yet the general opinion is, Kris boyd is too lazy at times.
He is a striker that likes to play through the middle, by far he is the best finisher i have seen inside the goal area, but ask him to go wide and retrieve a ball and he will probably look at you as if your from another planet.

if he sorted his game outside the box and made more of an effort then he would be a great striker for any team, the fact that daniel cousin's is in front of him in the ibrox pecking order says it all. Coisty thinks highly of the lad, but Coisty doesn't pick the team. rangers need an out and out finisher, Boyd is definately that, but they need someone who will also put in the work rate....i'm afraid boyd isn't that sort of player.
