Anyone been to a Leeds Ladies home match (or away) recently?

Do they sing, chant, insult the other team etc?
Didnt really happen at the WWC with England, it was all very placid. Although I was with the opposition for a bit.

Chanting singing and insult are rare at a womens footie game.
Besides some homophobic Chelsea suporters once and our resident troublemaker at Borehamwood
trouble do not happen there.
I have see Leeds at home last season when we played them at the mens training ground, they had a fair number of supporters.

I don't think shlj's favourite fan (or resident troublemaker, as he calls him) will travel that far Laughing

So you'll be the noisy one Wink

We have about a dozen of regular away fans for european games it goes from 1 to 50 sometimes and chanting is mainly two people at Borehamwood : one of them doing funny songs and the other one saying daft stuff sometimes. Plus our resident troublemaker who had last year an argument with some away supporters who were well upset of his antics taking the [beep!] at their players.

The bell rang out loud and clear at the Leeds game today- no chanting from from the Leeds fans but those I chatted with were both friendly and fair minded .

Im liking the sound of this bell. Reminds me of the guy who was banging a drum in the Kop for Leeds United.

I think we stood next to Ken for most of the FA Cup against Brum City.

He had a red Arsenal jacket and cap and seemed generally disaapointed for the whole duration of the game.

I told him to shut up at least 10 times Laughing shame he does not understand French.
There is a text message service at the emirates stadium to advise stewards of anti-social behaviour and else
if he goes to that game, Steward are gonna have a field day Laughing
I mean he was badmouthing our youngsters after the County Cup game against Charlton Twisted Evil
the girls are like 16 to 19 and he complained they did not play well. What a [beep!] [beep!], he should be ashamed to call himself a supporter.

It amazed me how critical he was yesterday...as if the girls were deliberately not trying and that there were no opposition players putting in challenges, blocks and tackles. He even went as far as shouting the length of the field at Emma about her choice of clearance- I just wonder what the players think when they hear his advice/criticism. Have they ever responded to him?

I haven't ever seen any of the players react, they shouldn't really. I saw him talking to Mary Phillip and he seemed to be having a bit of a rant and she just smiled and said 'Alright, Ken' which is probably the best thing to do Wink

I don't think is that well so it's nicer to leave him.

I did mention somewhere else that he was ranting as the girls were going into the ground at Wycombe for the League Cup Final 2 years ago - Rachel Yankey turned and said to him "Don't start already - we're not even on the pitch yet!" - but she did smile.

I think they just accept him, but opposition players don't always do so Laughing

I spoke to him in a cafe before the league cup game

I'd never dare shout stuff to the players negative stuff anyway imagine after the league cup suggesting to some of them that there passing was poor
