Fans generally look at the positive side in the women's game, I've found, and try and encourage, or are at worst neutral (apart from Ken, of course Wink).

Apologies for going off topic a bit

I don't see the point in having a go at players, they know themselves when they have played bad not to mention the manager and team mates commenting

One of my friends (not someone on here) said she wouldn't have waited to meet Arsenal after the league cup with how bad they generally performed, to me that's when they need support. Don't get me wrong I don't think I personally make a blind bit of difference.

I agree there is no point really, that's why if I think a player played badly I won't bother speaking to her. Because saying you played well to her when she has not is [beep!] and saying you played [beep!] is disrespectful as well.

There's no harm in saying something like "Never mind, these things happen" though, is there?

I said to kelly at the england game that I thought Arsenal played better at lincoln than the other games i've been to and at lincoln jayne asked if I'd enjoyed the game and commented to me that they were playing better I just said the games I'd been to.

I try to be encouraging but won't say things I don't mean !

I feel like chanting at games nice things but would look a fool or the players would hear me

I know a former Charlton keeper tipped a bucket of iced water over Kens head before!!

As for Maria, i sat next to her a couple of weeks ago...never again! I moved yesterday and could still hear her but twas sweet as after each song she got a round of applause! Instead i sat next to a bloke who was there for a chat rather than to watch the game! x

Should we have a special topic for fans (Ken etc) here?

Any thoughts?
