Milan Vice President Adriano Galliani has sparked Shevchenko rumours once more, by refusing to rule out an emotional return of one of their greatest ever strikers.

The Ukrainian international has been a spectacular failure since his high profile move to Stamford Bridge in the summer of 2006, and Silvio Berlusconi’s right-hand man has his own theories on why that might be.

"I think he doesn't feel protected and cuddled as he did with us," Galliani said to Gazzetta dello Sport. "Anyway, if he were to come back to Italy, he would only come back to Milan."

When asked whether there is a realistic possibility of this occurring at the end of the season, Galliani replied: "Who knows? You can exclude nothing, we remain bounded by a lot.

"Anyway, he's an extra EU player and next season there will be the place for only one player."

Irrespective of what lies in store for him in the summer ahead, Sheva will be hoping that the goal he scored in the midweek Carling Cup win over Liverpool in midweek, will finally prove the catalyst for his Chelsea career.

That's a shame I wanted him for Roma Crying or Very sad Alucard would like the Milan fans to have him back, or it's just Galliani?

Still he might be useful if Milan let go of Ronaldo.

I think Sheva made his bed, now he must sleep in it.

Milan gave him everything and he left so bad luck.
