Cameroon, who control their own destiny (needs nothing short of a victory to survive) will meet the Ivory Coast on Sunday in a huge game. PICK 'EM......

I have to side with Cameroon as my uncle's best mate used to be the coach many years ago {Karl Heinze Figge} He sent me their strip and we used it in the school team - it was great for us lads who were only 14 at the time - wow thats 20 years ago - we were the envy of East Anglia and won all the trophies to boot!

Load of tosh Ive read on here!

Cameroon are yesterdays team

Ivory Coast are todays team!

Ive bet 100 pounds at 1000/1 on Ivory Coast to win the World Cup!

Madness you may thinks!!

But they are are already down to 150/1.

When they win tomorrow they will be 50/1 and I can lay my bet off at 100/1 for a significant profit what ever happens.

Ivory Coast have a very good team, they a great defence with Kolo Toure at the heart and Drogba and Dindane up front.

They only need a point today and a win vs the useless Sudan and they are in Germany where i will be their number 1 fan!!!

Heres todays squad!!!

Goalkeepers: Gerard Gnanhouan (Montpellier, France), Jean-Jacques Tizie (Esperance, Tunisia)

Defenders: Arthur Boka (Racing Strasbourg, France), Cyril Domoraud (Creteil, France), Emmanuel Eboue (Arsenal, England), Blaise Koffi Kouassi (Troyes, France), Abdoulaye Meite (Olympique Marseille, France), Kolo Toure (Arsenal, England), Marc Kpolo Zoro (Messina, Italy)

Midfielders: Guy Demel (Hamburg SV, Germany), Emerse Fae (Nantes, France), Bonaventure Kalou (Paris St Germain, France), Arouna Kone (PSV Eindhoven, Netherlands), Siaka Tiene, Didier Zokora (both St Etienne, France)

Forwards: Kanga Akale (AJ Auxerre, France), Aruna Dindane (Racing Lens, France), Didier Drogba (Chelsea, England), Bakari Kone (Nice, France), Gilles Yapi Yapo (Nantes, France).

It appears Cameroon is not quite yet ready to have dirt thrown on them, they appear to still be alive and kicking. The fight between these 2 countries for the group is one of the better ones going on...

A big blow for Ivory Coast!
I have a friend from Ivory Coast who had already made plans to go in Germany. This gotta hurt.
From what I read, Ivory Coast has a best attack, but still have to improve their defense.
I wanted to see this Ivory Coast Team at the World Cup, but with this defeat, I better quit dreaming.

Well, Ivory Coast still has business to take care of, they still need to win against Sudan and hope that Cameroon gets beat by Egypt. It's not impossible Wink

Well, I wont bet on this slim chance eventhough I know that Egypt has a good Team. Cameroon pulled it off against Ivory Coast in Abidjan, I cant see them loose against Egypt at home.

Just like Senegal still has little chances, but in our mind we are already set: SENEGAL wont qualify for the next World Cup.

BTW, England is in a bad shape. How come they lost against Northern Ireland? Gotta watch the game!

Today England lost against Northern Ireland (not Scotland), and nobody would have thought that. That's why you never count a team out until the final whistle blows !!! When players are playing for there country anything can happen.......

Maybe I over-estimated England.
I thought it will be hard to beat a Team where you have players like Gerrard, Lampard, Terry, Rooney, Wright-Phillips, Rio, Cole, ...
First I couldnt believe that Denmark beat largely England, and now England is beaten by N. Ireland.
I think something is not going right.

Cameroon - Ivory Coast...
